Artist Sylvia Natterer Has Created Some Wonderful Dolls For The 2007 Dolfi Collection. Barbara Has Been Hand Carved From Mountain Maple That Is No Younger Than 75 Years Of Age. She Stands 12" Tall And Is Jointed With A Human Hair Wig. Her Name Is Displayed On The Bottom Of One Foot And The Dolfi Seal On The Other. Each Piece Of Maple Is Hand Selected And Sorted Eliminating Knots And Imperfections. At This Point The Wood Is Then Dried For An Additional 4 Years. The Wood Continues It's Process And Is Placed In A Climate Controlled Drying Oven Which Achieves Stability In The Wood To Prevent Cracking Over Time And It Also Brings Out The Rich Grain. Each Piece Is Individually Inspected And Only Then Does It Receive The Dolfi Seal. This Company Emulates Quality And Tradition.
