Maria's Dolls Are Naturalistic Presentations Of Children Of Various Ages.
She Has Been Creating Porcelain Dolls Since 1997 Being Fascinated By The Human Body And Its Proportions. By Means Of Articulation, The Dolls Achieve Various Positions And Postures, And When Displayed Together, Are Quite Effective And Compelling As A Group. Each Edition She Creates Is Limited To Five To Ten Dolls Worldwide, And The Height Can Varies From 30 To 50 cm Or 12 To 20". Depending Upon The Idea Maria Wishes To Carry Out, She Models The Hair As Her Final Step. The Material She Uses For The Wigs Is Either Mohair Or Human Hair. Also The Dolls Eyes May Be Hand Painted Or Made From Hand Blown Crystal Glass. Maria Designs And Creates Each Outfit.
Both The Facial Express And The Positioning Creates Different Moods And Impressions On The Part Of The Observer.
